Zirwa | Portraits at Flower Mound Field

After only a few sneak peeks, I got messages like, “Words can’t express how amazing I feel after seeing the pictures, Maggie!” And “You have made my life. I appreciate and love you so much.” And during the shoot “OMG I loooooove all of them!” Words like those just melt my heart and reassure me that I’m doing what God intended me to do in life. Oh goodness, Zirwa has a way with words that just make me smile while in the grocery store, or wherever I am!

I’ve taken Zirwa’s pictures since I started getting into photography in high school, over 11 years ago. From taking pictures for fun, to senior pictures, to taking her pictures every few years, I’ve loved capturing my sweet friend’s portraits at every milestone and for fun. It’s just crazy how time flies and how much we’ve grown as friends and as people. Zirwa’s since gone to law school, graduated, passed the Texas BAR, and is practicing for a big firm in Dallas! I’m so so proud of her and how hard she’s worked to get to where she is now. I love this sister of mine and am blessed by her.

We had the most beautiful afternoon in February for her portraits in a Flower Mound field. The weather was an ideal 70 something degrees with a slight breeze. Zirwa, thank you for giving me the opportunity photograph you as you’ve grown and become a beautiful woman. I can’t wait to do another portrait session soon!
