Wenet & Peter’s wedding at Robert Carr Chapel was so beautiful & memorable! Not only did Wenet MAKE her own wedding dress by hand, but these two also shared their first kiss together at the ceremony! So so sweet & I’m so happy for them!
Wenet & Peter met during a work conference. Peter was headed to Disney Springs to see the sights and invited Wenet to join if she wanted to join, even though they had just met. After a little research and thinking, she decided to accept that offer. Wenet & Peter decided to go to dinner where they spent 2 hours talking. Not wanting their time together to end, they chose to go window-shopping. This resulted in them purchasing matching Flannels. So cute, right?!
Their relationship went into friend mode for a little while after a confusing breakfast conversation on the last day of the conference. Peter was so focused on what he thought Wenet would say, he missed what she actually said. Happens to all of us! Thankfully the story didn’t end there.
Wenet decided to visit a friend in Chicago, and asked Peter if he would mind seeing her during her visit. Peter took Wenet to dinner, country dancing, and fixed her a Scandinavian dessert! It was during this visit the breakfast conversation was clarified and Wenet & Peter began a long distance relationship.
While apart they opted to read “Ready or Knot” by Scott Kedersha. When they finished the book Wenet asked, “So, ready or not?” Peter didn’t answer.
Peter had a ring shipped from Israel to his Aunt Diane. They had lunch with Peter’s Aunt & Uncle and also picked up the package. They went hiking bringing the package along. Wenet was completely surprised as we was still a little confused on how Peter was feeling about the topic of marriage. During his proposal Peter told Wenet that he loved her for the first time! Wenet & Peter are such a sweet couple!
The entire wedding day was so joyful. Everyone was so excited and had a great time! The first look was so sweet. Wenet gifted Peter a box of letters she had written him beginning right after they met.
We had an engagement session at Lake Park in Lewisville a couple months ago which was so fun (here).
Wenet & Peter, thank you so much for having me document this special time in your lives. You both are so lovely and I am so blessed to have been able to work with you and your families. I am so excited to be sharing your wedding day blog with you and everyone else. You two are such a beautiful couple. Congratulations and cheers to many years together that are full of love and happiness!
