Your big day is here and you are so busy getting everything done that you might feel like you haven’t had any time with your husband or wife! Let me tell you something, private last dances are everything. The whole day has gone so well and while you may or may not have had a first look, you still want some alone time with each other. This blog is going to give you three reasons to have a private last dance!
Private Moment – This is one of the few moments of the day that you and your husband will have by yourselves in a private setting. Your wedding is a day you’ve been planning for a long time and you are doing everything you can to make it less stressful for the day of. You rarely get a chance on your own, let alone with your husband, after you say “I Do!”A private last dance is perfect for the couple to be alone & enjoy a last dance together, other than the photographer who will only stay in there for about thirty seconds to get a few awesome shots (this is what I do, but some are different & stay the whole time). It is a beautiful moment for you two to dance with each other and be by yourselves for a few minutes before you make the grand exit.
More pictures! – Private last dances are one of the photographers favorite things to capture because no one is in the room but you two and as the photographer, I love to get a bit creative and use candles and/or lights to add effects to the pictures that make it even more magical, and it gives you even more images to love!
Time – This also gives time for all of the guests and wedding planners to get ready for the formal exit! Whether you are doing sparklers or whatever else, they will need to be handed out and form two lines down a walkway for you to walk through to the “getaway car”! It also gives the photographers a chance to run out there with lights and cameras and get set up for you to walk our way!
There you go! There are three reasons to have a private last dance! That moment between the newly wed couple is so special. We always suggest it to our couples since it isn’t always talked about. We promise you will love the images you get from it and the private moment you will finally have after a long but amazing day!
