Meet Jessica & Sam! These two have known each other for quite sometime! I love stories like theirs. They have been such a fun couple to work with.  Jessica & Sam met at a mutual friends house when they were fourteen, right before freshman year of high school! They were best friends all throughout high school. Sam proposed to Jessica on March sixteenth of twenty sixteen at his parents lake house, but the story gets interesting. They started to head to the camping grounds Sam had picked but it ended up being closed from a natural disaster that happened the year before. Thankfully, Sam had another spot in mind. As they drove into the site they were met by a guard controlling the flow of traffic, he informed them that the site was closed due to a tornado from the night before. Jessica took this as a sign that they shouldn’t camp. Sam semi agreed and they headed to his family lake house, but he made them camp in the backyard for the “experience”. The next day when they woke up on their third anniversary. They watched the sunset and spent time together. As they were outside on the dock that afternoon Jessica realized that Sam had created quite the country music playlist, her favorite. As the sun set on the lake Sam asked her to marry him and she of course, said yes. So cute, right? They were never apart during this shoot and I loved getting to photograph this for them! The locations were some of my favorites and the weather couldn’t have been better!

Jessica and Sam, Thank you so very much for having me be apart of this amazing time in both of your lives! I have loved getting to work with y’all so far and can’t wait for the wedding day next month! I hope you love your engagement blog as much as I have loved getting to photograph it!
